lin was a behind the scenes supporter of our team. She and her husband, Jim, raced dog sled teams during their entire lives together, which spanned greater than 20 years. Being a Veterinary Technician and having so much field experience treating canine athletes for wounds and illness on the road and on the fly, lin taught us everything from how to patch a torn foot pad to nutrition and supplementation for working dogs. She was a great friend to all who knew her and she will always be with us in our hearts!

In Memory of Wayne Haupt
Our dear friend and team mate. Wayne believed strongly in the ability of dogs to enrich the lives of people and to assist in critical lifesaving services to mankind. Always making time to help the VSAR K9 unit in any way he could, from fund raising to training assistant….Wayne had also become a “professional scent article”, willing to offer his time as a subject whenever anyone needed him. He will always be a source of inspiration for our team.
